Debutant Aradhana Ram impresses in her role, adding substance to the narrative. Despite its three-hour runtime and a few pacing issues in songs, the film's climax feels somewhat contrived, typical of traditional commercial cinema. However, "Kaatera" succeeds in merging a meaningful message with entertainment, a balance lacking in some recent releases, providing a satisfying experience for Darshan's enthusiastic fan base.
